Hey All,

I just bought a PM 9600/200 and I’m having some troubles connecting to
the internet. I’m using the built-in ethernet port (RJ-45) which is
connected to a Linksys WMP54G hub/wireless router. My ISP is Verizon
DSL, to which the router connects via PPPoE. In my mind, the PM 9600
should connect to the router’s DHCP server, as does my IBM laptop which
works via ethernet or wireless. I’ve just done a clean install of OS 8.6
and I’ve made sure I have all the apple ethernet extensions.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance,

Jason

Hello Jason

I found sometimes doing a custom install of 'networking' overcame some of the ethernet problems, also isn't the 9600/200 a 10baseT machine does your router support this?

Have Fun
