I've got a TT128 in my 9600 running fine on 9.2.2. It definately did do weird intermittent problems like that before I had turned bitmap acceleration and text acceleration (I think those were the ones) off in the iX3D control panel. I didn't notice any slowdown, and the system became much more stable afterwards.
