SAFT is the most common battery I've seen in the UK past the standard one
that Apple uses (all blue, forget the brand name, but a quick Google got me
this picture http://www.watchbattery.co.uk/shop/son1_2aa.jpg and the name
Sonnenschein.)

I have seen the stock Apple batteries live 10 years. I've pulled dead SAFT
from 6100's, but they were probably at least 5+ years old (may even have
been the original part, not sure.)

Certainly, SAFT work just fine.

Mind you, my 9500 has a CR1 in it at the moment, and has kept its PRAM for
over 6 months, so I don't know what that says about CR1's....
