Has anyone upgraded their 9500s cpu with something like Sonnet's G3/450/1MB, and found it advantageous to remove the onboard cache by removing the R31 resistor?

I'm a bit reluctant to do so, as mine seems to be working with CPU Director 2.1 under OS 10.3.9.

I tried XLR8s Mach Speed Control 3.4.2, but discovered that on a 9500, it has trouble Disabling the cache with its software, as it is supposed to do.

Comments welcomed.
