I'm a proud owner of a 8500 running panther, but as far as i read
opinion in this forum it's time to let her go and buy a new Mac instead
of putting money on it. My question concern the Mac i could buy. It's
a PowerMac G4 Yikes 400... and my question is: Is this a good buy a
Yikes or should i wait until a sawtooth come?

As I'm sure others will tell you, wait for *at least* a Sawtooth. Personally I'd keep an eye out for a Digital Audio - 466 and 533 MHz models are dropping into the affordable range, and I think they're the best of the early AGP G4's.
