You need to find a cable with 25 and 50 ends, not an adapter

I want to hook up an older external HD to my 5400 but I cannot find an adaptor for 25 pin to Centronics (I believe it need be female). Any suggestions? I tried eBay but no luck yet. Thanks! Steve
