I have TechTools for OS 8 & 9 (i think). the 8.x version is on a
Norwgian OS 8.1 bootable CD, but that is probably OK, since you are
probably just after TT. The 8.1 version should work w/ 8.6. If you
have 8.6 somewhere, you can copy off the relevant apps to a new
startup disk for 8.6.

What TechTool version works for OS 8.6? Will the Apple branded versions
(4.01) shipped with OS 10.x work? I'm not interested in installing it on
the hard drive, only using it as a startup boot disk on PM7200s and
Powerbook 3400c.
