Sorry! But the 604ev Mach V out of the PM 9600/350 will in no ways work in any 7300 ae. The only other Kansas will be the 8600. IMHOAE: You better can put that G3/400 in the 7300/200 and leave the 9600/350 as in original state. Several reasons: 1) The 9600/8600 Mach V's are well-known picky with upgrades. 2) The 7300's are not! (Beware event. req. jumper-settings!). 3) Upgrading the 9600 leaves you with a (picky?) G3/400 AND a 7300/200 (for the 604ev/350 is not usable!). 4) Upgrading the 7300 leaves you with a stable G3/400 AND a 9600/350. Which is a much better and stable couple, I would say. Just the 2 €-cents opinion of an old? (62) Maccer and still maintaining ae(haha) around 80 OldWorld Mac's (PCI + Beige) + around 25 Older/OldestWorld Mac's (Nubus and before + even 1 Lisa!). A tip to learn more about these: Goto "PCI PowerMacs Archieves" and look for postings from "[EMAIL PROTECTED]". He is/was? a real Practical Encyclopedia OnList.
