    I don't think we should create additional directory just for one
file. Especially since this is not just one file but (after autoconf)
also a bunch of Makefiles. :)
    And also docbook XML source for manual page doesn't make it any
easier, I had the experience with that too and as I could not reach the
design I would like with XML I switched to manually written page in my
own project.

    I don't know how to state that. Feel free to add it to appropriate
place if you have ideas. As I said already, formulations isn't my good
skill.

    Author is still you, my additions are so small. :) As for man page,
I've added my name as author of man page update.
