Have you tried providing an absolute path? Is test.png located in your home directory?
The file is situated in the "wallpaper directory". I tested with a full path, and the command doesn't work: pcmanfm --set-wallpaper=/usr/share/lubuntu/wallpaper/test.png pcmanfm -w /usr/share/lubuntu/wallpaper/test.png Any help is welcome.
