Well in my case I just renamed the volume which obviously you don't  
always have the luxury to do.

libtool bug? Looked to me as though it was simply because of  
assumptions being made in the ltmain.sh script
itself where the default IFS= is used in the for loop and therefore it  
splits on the space in the path.
