Therefore, there is nothing I can do about this unless you send me the testtrygrep file or the diff of that file from testdata/grepoutputN. The failure is in the newline settings test of pcre2grep. There are known problems with Solaris and Darwin, for which one test that contains NUL characters is omitted.
