it should fix a possible issue when building for IOS, TVOS, WatchOS and
whatever else Apple comes up with, but it would be better if tested there
somehow.
sadly, I don't think anyone copied in this ticket knows how, but at least my
version of the patch has been build and tested in (all under x86-64) :
macOS 10.14.2 (with and without hardened runtime)
macOS 10.13.6
linux Fedora Rawhide
