Step to reproduce:
Define a pattern matching for a simple linefeed : '#^\x0A$#', then test it with
:
"\n" -> Match OK like expected
"\n\n" -> Match Ok not like expected <= The bad guy !
"\n\n\n" -> Not Match like expected
"\n\n\n\n... -> Not Match like expected
