Currently, the pcre-config file and libpcre*.pc files are not generated in PCRE
8.44.
This was still missing in CMakeLists.txt
Use GNUInstallDirs, which provides CMAKE_INSTALL_LIBDIR, to be able to
distinguish between lib and lib64.
