I think that there was an article posted the other day that went into
the registration and activation of XP.  It may be a great OS, but the
problems in reinstalling as it has a MS registration that is a key and
you only get this a few times and then its calls to MS to argue your
point about needing to install it again.  As it sends a full description
of the machine its being installed on, if you do any upgrades such as a
larger hard drive, more memory or other system changes, your
registration key is no longer any good and you have again to call MS to
get a new key.  

I'm sure that there will be a large hew and cry about this one when it
happens.  As for me, I'll stay with my 98 for a while longer until the
courts sort this one out.
