Uninstall end it all. It can cause problems, and contrary
to it's name, it does NOT 'end it all'. If you cont alt
delete after you attempt to 'end it all', you'll see
programs still running even though they may be on the list
of programs to end. cont alt delete out of EVERYTHING
except explorer and system tray, then cont alt delete AGAIN
and be SURE that is ALL that is running. You have to set
the screen saver to 'none', the HD and monitor power save
functions to 'never' as well. Then try running it. If it
still won't complete, run in DOS first.

Subject: PCWorks: can't scan disk
Last night I tried to do maintenance on my computer. I
used Enditall to clear
out programs. For some reason, the maintenance wizard
would not come up. The
computer froze and I had to to shut the computer off at the
wall outlet.
This morning when I logged on....it showed many .dll
missing and froze up
again....I was still unable to turn it off normally. I had
to unplug the
computer and tried again to do maintenance. I has tried to
scan disk for the
past hour..gets up to about 75% then starts over....
I really need some help!!
Thanks,
