Kelly,
It works totally fine, as far as being a Zip drive goes - BUT, I use
Norton's SystemSuite, which makes a rescue set for the computer. If you
have something hit the system, and you need to try and restore settings
and values to the system, the rescue set can be used to try and correct
the problem(s).
What I have found is that the Zip drive, showing as a floppy instead of
a regular drive, when trying to boot from the floppy made by the rescue
program and then use the info from the Zip drive, that it will not work,
and things will not come up as they should.
So you know, this has, occationally in the past, saved my butt when
issues have occured with my system in the past, when it had the other
motherboards in them, and the Zip drive showed as a regular drive.
So this is the reason I would like to get it back to showing as a
regular drive, and not as just a floppy.
