No sorry, I only tried to use it once when cdrw drives were not supported, but there should be a way mentioned within the program to span several CD's. If you are using adaptec software with your cdrw drive, it comes with a back up program, "Take Two". I see you are using an HP, and all HP's I have seen come with adaptec/roxio and a good HP backup program. Yours does not have this? Hmmm, I just tried to run my MS backup program on Win98 and it says 'no backup devices found' so evidently win98 does not have a BU program for CDRW drives....therefore I cannot check this spanning problem out. To save some email posts: if your HP drive was OEM and came with no software, then you may be able to get some of the BU software from HP's site or possibly Roxio's site. If you did not load the adaptec roxio software and went with Nero or another, then you might have to load the software that came with it. IF you did load adaptec's software and didn't see anything about HP backup, then you must have gotten a stripped down version of adaptec. Lastly, maybe you have it installed and don't even know it?
