I just use MS Paint. Paste the image into it, zoom in to the max, select the finest 'brush' then the color pickup tool, next select a pixel of the eye color in the iris. Then the 'brush' is the correct color and you can cover up the red eye. Save it, or 'copy n paste' it into irfanview (resize or sharpen, fix colors, etc), then save as a jpeg. Both of these are free of course. -Clint
