Never have seen a URL in the task bar. They are normally shown in the status bar of the browser. Most of the non-standard items shown in the status bar are displayed do to JavaScript programming. A first step would be to make sure the status bar is turned on. In IE click View and make sure a Check mark is shown in front of Status Bar. In Netscape type Ctrl-Alt-S (toggles task bar on/off) Next I would review my JavaScript settings in IE (Tools -- Internet Options -- Advanced tab -- you could click on restore defaults) or Netscape (Edit -- Preferences -- Advanced). For Netscape example see http://developer.netscape.com/docs/examples/javascript/nscp_toc/demo.html -- Gerry Boyd ============= PCWorks Mailing List ================= Don't see your post?
