Jim: My only other suggestion is to check out the MS user groups for Win ME at the following URL (If link wraps around, it ends in -US):
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?PR=news&FR=0&SD=GN&LN=EN-US Scroll down and look under Microsoft Windows and then at Windowsme.systemtools. There are a number of posts from users with the same problem. Let us know if you come up with a solution, please!
