Go to tools/options/mail format Then the top section called "message format" you pull down menu and choose "plain text."
I'm on digest so I hope this hasn't been answered already. Since some people ignore rules about posting HTML emails, on lists, when I reply to HTML emails, the default is always HTML. I have to manually change to plain text. In Outlook Express, I had an option to NOT send mail in same format received. Is this option gone in 2001? I even have each list set up to send in plain text but this is over-ridden in replies.
