I have a Windows 98 computer. Recently I decided to upgrade to Internet Explorer 6. It was a BIG mistake! I no longer am able to run Outlook and now when trying to open a file using Frontpage, it says it can't load a shared file and it also closes. I reverted back to I.E. 5.5, but the problems remains. I have repeatingly tried uninstalling and reinstalling Office 2000 with no luck. Has anyone had this type of problem? I'm beginning to feel like I will either have to live without these two programs or reinstall Windows or reformat or something. Right now I am able to open Frontpage in my other computer which is networked to my computer and open the file from my computer with no problem.
Thanks for any insight you may give me. I'm pretty sure the my problems are caused by installing I.E. 6 to my computer.
