To permanently remove the checkmark in front of "Always open with this program" edit the registry. Start -- Run -- regedit Go to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Unknown\shell\openas\command Open the string named (Default) and add %2 to the end of the string. The modified string should now look something like this: C:\WINDOWS\rundll32.exe shell32.dll,OpenAs_RunDLL %1 %2 -- Gerry Boyd ============= PCWorks Mailing List ================= Don't see your post?
