Listers, I was just talking to a tech about a motherboard burning up after 2 months of use. He told me that there was a possibility that both of my older surge suppressors were probably no good anymore and that they only last 4 to 6 months. I'm not buying that statement. The only time my computer is on is when I'm using it and I know there were no spikes during that period of time. Of course, there's always a possibility. What does the list think about this?
