Our second computer is built by Tiny Computers here in the UK.
I don't know if you have them in the US but no doubt you have companies like
them.
Anyway the ME os is customised by the company and the normal ME will not
install on the computer.
The system restore is provided by tha company via a disk.
After many problems it was decided to format and then install the normal ME
.
Everything went OK right up to the final restart when the Tiny screen came
up instead of the normal ME.
When the computer had fully opened up it was found that
hardly anything had been installed.
The emergency start up disk made during installation would not work and
things were only sorted out by using the Tiny supplied disks.
My question is how on earth do Tiny manage to keep their precence on the
computer even after a format.
And of course is there a way to clear Tiny off the computer and install the
normal os.
THanks
John
