What do you mean it won't "allow" you to restore it? Are you following the directions I sent you in the link from Microsoft? Are you using SFC?
When you say it won't "allow" you to restore it, what EXACTLY do you mean? I just went and followed the instructions. and it still wont' allow me to restore it..for some reason. I have no clue what to do. I also tried the page Carole sent. and it said, Page not found.. I checked and it won't allow me to get into that site.. Do I "have to restore it".. I can always. if necessary(I think).use my installation disk.. or boot disk.(but have NO CLUE) how to do this.
