I have a laptop (UMAX 310T) that I'm having an annoyance with. When I boot it, the sound is muted. I go to the sound control app, and unmute Wave and the sound plays OK. Shut down and reboot and the sound is again muted. I've checked all my installed apps ( Realplayer and Windows media). I've checked the BIOS and have found no settings for muting a sound card.
