Repair IE, it's a bug that crops up in IE from time to time. That and empty your temp internet files directory.
If you have a number of machines then you may be better suited to get all the updates through the windows update catalogue, save to your hard drive and install from there.

In the hour of 07:27 AM 24/02/2003 +0000, Virginia Da Costa spoke this:
Win98 -- I've been trying to get all the updates for Win98 before Microsoft
withdraw support. Whereas for months I was unable to either access the
Microsoft Update site or download any updates, I am now able to get to the
site and find the critical downloads. On one of my machines I have managed
to download and install all critical updates, but on the other, after
initial success with some updates, a problem has cropped up which I suspect
has something to do with IE. Here's the error message:

An error has occurred in the script on this page
Line 2
Char 1
Error: Object doesn't support this property or method
Code: 0
URL
http:/lv4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/msdownload/update/v3/static/eula/en/eu
la.htm
Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?

Whether I choose yes or no the result is the same, the "I accept" box of the
EULA is greyed out and of course the download is blocked because it is
assumed I have not accepted!

Does anyone know if I can do anything about this?
TIA
