If you have a number of machines then you may be better suited to get all the updates through the windows update catalogue, save to your hard drive and install from there.

Win98 -- I've been trying to get all the updates for Win98 before Microsoft withdraw support. Whereas for months I was unable to either access the Microsoft Update site or download any updates, I am now able to get to the site and find the critical downloads. On one of my machines I have managed to download and install all critical updates, but on the other, after initial success with some updates, a problem has cropped up which I suspect has something to do with IE. Here's the error message:
An error has occurred in the script on this page Line 2 Char 1 Error: Object doesn't support this property or method Code: 0 URL http:/lv4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/msdownload/update/v3/static/eula/en/eu la.htm Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?
Whether I choose yes or no the result is the same, the "I accept" box of the EULA is greyed out and of course the download is blocked because it is assumed I have not accepted!
Does anyone know if I can do anything about this? TIA
