Quicktech has this function. It is a suite of diagnostics run from a bootable floppy and can test anything in the system as well as the burn in function which can be set to run for a specified period of time (24-48 hrs)and log the errors. I use it on all my new builds as well as on PC's I've repaired. It doesn't however do any windows tests so if your customer installs an offending app or driver...... Of course if you're using 2K or XP you can set the unsigned behavior to block and that will prevent the afore mentioned problem (for the most part). Another way to manually stress the system is run the most intensive game you can find in demo mode for 24 hrs or so. Best of luck to you.
