Specifically for Gerry Boyd, certainly anyone else interested ... Here is a picture of
my explorer window with that folder that
won't open, has no name, and won't delete. Has no adverse effect on the Windows98
operation but .. well, it just doesn't belong.

That was a great idea having me put a picture of it on my website (notice, one word;
thanks to our retired English teacher).
I'll keep it there for a week or until I get a response (as they say, "whichever comes
first").

Please give specific direction as to what to type in the DOS prompt. I know something
about Windows but zilch about DOS. There's
so much to learn and that seems to be low on the priority list. Although I wish I did
know more since I've heard there are moves
you can make in DOS that cannot be done in Windows. But I can certainly follow your
DOS instructions, so lead on..

Also, thank you, Clint, for your advice on this html tag ...
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN">

It's a little too late for me to put it on top of all the pages I have (shrugging my
shoulders) there are bigger problems in the
world ... Harold B. in Brooklyn, NY.
