Thanks Peter. Those pages are rather contradictory; one says
don't put a page file on the Windows partition, the MS XP site
says to not remove the pagefile from the Windows partition, and
to put another on the dedicated partition (that I made). However
one is for win2k, the other for XP, so I guess that's the reason
for the discrepancy.

With 512mb of RAM, I set my min to 766 and max to 1536 (on: C:,
and a dedicated PF partition, and on a separate HD), will see how
that works. XP site said you should not remove the PF from the
C: part. due to not being able to perform a system core dump.
For other users, FYI; XP knows which drive or partition to use
for the PF by algorithm. It will automatically use the PF on the
partition or HD that is less frequently used. In my case, that
would be the dedicated partition I have just for the PF. It also
stated to put a page file on any separate HD's you use.
Thanks for the links,
-Clint
