Some time ago before I became a member of the group a friend posted a problem I had. I had bought a computer system from a company that had "customised" it preventing me from doing what I wanted to do with it such has putting on MS operating system. I had formatted my hard drive and tried to install the operating system but on finishing nothing had been installed and I had to use the supplied customised Win ME. The company has gone out of business and I have found out that the customised info is on a hidden partition on the hard drive. I am told I need to delete this info to get rid of the customisation. I cannot find this partition so could anyone please advise on what I need to do.
