Hi Sandy ... Keith is right; no way of getting rid of it. It's an important file for 
Windows to work. What might have happend is that an adjustment was made to your 
virtual memory, which is a good thing to do, and should improve the efficiency of 
Windows. This causes the Win386.swp file to move out of Windows to the root 
C-directory (C:\). For a more complete explanation of this, go to
