Win 98 password protection is readily bypassed with the Esc key (Although I
never did know the point of it).
Win 2000 passwords are apparently more difficult but not impossible.

What would be the point of putting on a password if you could just bypass it
!!!!!!!!!!!! To the best of my knowledge the answer is no. no password no
entry.

Hello Gurus;
/I have a question from a friend:
"IF" someone has put a password on their computer so I don't have access
anymore....do you know if there is some way to "bypass" the password??
The machine has Windows 2000 pro on it./
