This is your Java cache file which you can clear out by going into your Control Panel and opening the Java plugin, then go to Cache and clear the cache there.

In the hour of 08:37 AM 12/7/2003, John O'Flynn spoke this:

Can anyone tell me what is C:\WINDOWS\.jpi_cache? It looks like a great
pile of old junk that I don't even recognize.

The reason I'm asking is that AVG found a virus and moved the infected
file to the Vault. The precise file and path is
C:\WINDOWS\.jpi_cache\file\1.0\VerifierBug.class-15a3ad70-5bf1a3ae.idx

I've no idea what this is or whether I need it. Something tells me I
could safely delete the infected file and all the rest of the .jpi_cache
as well, but I want to be sure.

TIA John
