I got this Dell Laptop for my wife, Windows 2000 from E-Bay. Had it about a month and some times when you start it up, there is a real loud obnoxious screech coming from it. The only way to get rid of it is to hold power button until it powers back down. I thought it was the CD-ROM, but this time there was no CD in the drive. Is this a hard drive going bad?
