I have a 686MX P200 Cyrix, pipeline 512k cache, 32m
SDram, 2.1GB HDD. WIN95 Its 7-8 years old.
System wont boot up to Windows at all and using the
original boot disk and CDROM doesnt help.
Sometimes stalls at the first "windows" cloud screen,
sometimes it goes to the C:\ prompt. sometimes get
emm386 error.
When using dos, to copy files to floppy it stalls
anywhere from the first key stroke to halfway through
copying a whole directory. Seems to have a pattern
that the longer I leave it sit "off" before rebooting
the longer it will go till it stalls again. quick
reboot=quick stall.
Ive put old edo ram back in(2x8mb) no change. Ive put
new memory battery in, no change.
Tried reinstall win95, same probs with random stalling
before it gets very far.
