Do you mean they are not in any specific order? If so, you
click the "Favorites" button on the IE toolbar and right click
the fav's then "sort by name" then they'll be in alphabetical
order. You can also do the same thing at the fav's on the
Start Menu.

If you are referring to a search method of some kind, I only
know of two. One is simply right clicking the fav's folder at
its HD location and doing a "search". You can put a shortcut
to it on the Desktop. The other is a program called "X1".
http://www.x1.com/ It has a Favorites search area, but
primarily replaces XP's hideous, painfully slow native search
with instant results.

Hello again,

I know I was able to do it in Netscape. How does one find any
given URL in
IE's favorites? In fact, where in the IE window can one "find"
any particular
favorite?

In the "Organize Favorites" window, I see no general "find"
applet. I do see
where one can "find" names of favorites in individual folders.
Don't see a
general "find" for the entire list, and no "find" at all for
URL's ... Harold
