Jorge and Jo, thanks for the replies on this. I could not
reply to you personally because I don't have your email
addresses. I never got your posts (now pasted below), I only
just now noticed them in the archives. Jorge it's something in
your message headers that's no doubt blocked by my UCE filters.
But Jo, you may want to know that in your signature file is the
word "speci-alise" with no "z", and a root word in that is a
brand name for a "popular recreational drug"! I had to
hyphenate it here. Most everyone is going to have that
all-to-familiar word blocked by a SP/AM filter due to the
billions of SP/AM emails promoting it, so you may want to use
the USA spelling for it, "specialize". ;-)

Thanks again guys for the info at those URL's.

Hi Clint

There are two others that I know of - one I use personally is
www.efax.com - I live in New Zealand but provide a US based Fax
number
for my American Clients - have had the service for four years,
really
like it and of course it is free.

The other I have heard of but havent tried it is www.jfax.com

Hi all. Does anyone know of a way to receive faxes via email
that's FREE? Callwave.com has done the all-to-familiar bait 'n
switch routine by now charging $8 a month. They were free.
When someone would send me a fax, I'd get it via email in a
tiff format file. Do any of you know of another way or company
similar to them that offers this type of free service?
Thanks,
-Clint
