I've tried using programs that will capture what's on your monitor as it's played and 
they don't work well - the FPS is choppy, kind
of like playing Quake2 online with a voodoo2 card that's dying...

I am able to capture sound using Audacity but don't know about capturing the video 
part...

Surely the card you have would allow you to copy to your VCR?  I don't know about that 
card so I'm not sure...  But, from your VCR
you'd have to then convert the analog info to digital for use by the computer 
requiring another program such as TEMPGEnc...

Anyway, I did a search on the net and found this:
