That is the normal default for win 98/ME (4 ). I had the same problems way back and set mine to 16 with no reoccurances of the problem.

I have no idea if it worked. I suppose I'll know in a few days when I turn it on and I never get those messages again. I just got another one this afternoon, but that was long before I got the answer from any of you. Oh, you mean your version didn't work? No, but when I did msconfig instead of sysedit it worked. The file name now looks like this: [386Enh] MinSPs=4
Is that what you meant that I waas supposed to do?
