To reach 'backup procedure' click on the link <Best practices>

On the resulting page; Click on the link <System State data> (System
State Data includes the registry)

On the resulting page; Click on the <Back up System State data> - near
the bottom of the page.

Then you finally get instructions on how to backup the registry using
the "Backup' utility
