For those that may be interested, I tried deleting and recreating the array
which would work for a couple of days or so and then begin randomly
rebooting at various times. I finally transferred the data with Norton Ghost
2003 to an ATA RAID 0 array to keep on this computer using Windows 2000
Professional and this computer is now running stable. I took the Elite 1600
SCSI RAID controller and the two Seagate 36G, 15K SCSI drives and moved them
into one of my other computers using Windows XP Professional on an ASUS K8V
motherboard with an AMD64 Processor and that also has been running quite
stable now so it seems to have been some kind of compatability issue. Case
closed (for now)!
