I moved to TheBat! several years ago when I tired of people
sending me flying and singing angels on colored stationery.
Now all HTML is tabbed behind the plain text version of all
emails and dumped unseen in the trash.  If newsletters
insist on sending HTML they also are dumped.  Most seem to
have a plain text version but they sure push for the HTML.

I agree with your comments.  It's a terrible security risk.
The stuff isn't even attractive, often is plain ugly as a
matter of fact. It makes no sense to me.
