There are a few settings that tweakui needs to set every time windows is started. The auto logon is one and I believe there are a few other tweaks that windows doesn't save between sessions. Tweakui doesn't stay resident in memory. It runs and is gone. I don't see any real problem with letting it do that.

Evidently this is TweakUI trying to put itself into my Startup. (Why on earth would I want to do that?) Is there any way I can get it to stop this silly habit? Evidently it pulled the same trick on Harold :-) Harold says: What happens with me is that anytime I open TweakUi, and doing nothing and clicking Cancel, it immediately appears in msconfig > Startup. That's even after removing the listing in the Registry (Run, etc). So now I'll just leave it there; can't do anything about it. ...
