There is a way to completely remove Roxio software. I will have to look it up but I remember having to go to their site to get the patch. I believe it does it by itself once it is downloaded. I just checked my downloads and it is called Roxiozap so perhaps going to google will bear fruit.

Hi
Hoping you can help me ..
Sometime back I removed Roxio from my computer..
Now when I boot up a pop up comes up .. as follows..

Devices or Applications Disabled
"Direct CD" will cause Windows to become unstable.
Windows has presented these drivers from loading.

Is there a way for me to remove this annoying thing?
If so can you please tell me in 'simple' steps how to go about it?
Thanks so much.. you all are always so helpful and have
helped through lots of problems.. Liz
