I use some for cleaning my wifes coocoo clock
mechanisms, especially the one near the kitchen which
catches grease and dirt rather easily. After cleaning
the clock, I do have a very fine oil for lubing them.
As for lube, I heard a few years ago that a Swiss
watch maker used to use the oil from his own face to
lube up the tiny gears and such of the watches he made.
