You can try it there. But if it does not find it, then search for it and
type in the path. Lets assume it is in the C: drive and in the windows
system 32 directory.
 regsvr32 /u c:\windows\system32popup_bl.dll

Try it without searching first. If it errors out, search for it and make
sure under the advanced properties you have selected search in hidden
folders and files.

Thank you,
Eric Vogel

Subject: PCWorks: Hotoffers trojan

Friends...please help a lurker...I have been plagued with a trojan that
neither an updated Norton, Spybot, Pest Patrol, Spysweeper, Adaware SE &
others cannot get rid of.I have googled it & come up with directions to
remove (from Hotoffers own website)....

How to uninstall?
1. You need to save file _uninstall.exe_
(http://www.hotoffers.info/uninstall/uninstall.exe) from our server.
2. You need to launch this file.
3. Then open regedit.exe in your Windows directory. And find
HKEY_CURRENT_USER
"Software\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\Explorer\\UninstallHP.
4. Now please delete UninstallHP folder.
5. Now please write in your command field: regsvr32 /u popup_bl.dll 6.
Press OK. You're free of this trojan!
...I've done everything, successfully to Line 5. My question is ...I "RAN"
CMD & got a window "C:\WINDOWS\system32\cmd.exe" in which it says
"C:\Documents and Settings\Omi>"...is this where I type "regsvr32 /u
popup_bl.dll"
any help would be appreciated, Clint Vanorsdell DBA Video Van =============
